Iolite is a violet colored gemstone, the color range for iolite gemstones can be a pale violet to a very deep violet. Most of the good quality iolite gemstones are today mined in India. There are many reasons why an iolite men's ring is considered to be a good jewel. Firstly, the medium to deep violet iolite gems look tremendous in yellow or white metal. This means that both gold or silver iolite gemstone rings for men would be great. Durability takes special siginificance when it comes to men's rings or other men's jewelry. This mens ring with iolite gem stone weighs a hefty 20 to 25 grams, which works to increase the durability of the jewel. The center gemstone is a 9x7mm octogonal shaped gemstone. The diamonds on either side of the center gem stone are round 2.5mm. You can ofcourse choose the gemstones of your choice for your men's ring. If you decide to go with the iolite gemstone, you can choose a medium color gem (as shown in the image) or request for a very deep color iolite gem. Both these options are priced the same. Buyers are often confused when it comes to choosing an 18k or 14k men's gold ring. Technically 18k gold has a higher content of pure gold as compared to 14k gold but, a 14k mens ring would be harder than a similar ring made in 18k gold. We therefore recommend 14k gold mens rings because they are sturdier. However all kaisilver jewelry comes with the option for 14k and 18k gold and the choice is left to you. The ring is shown in yellow gold but, you will have the option to order a yellow or white gold mens gem stone ring. You should also know that both yellow and white gold have the same hardness when comparing gold with the same karatage. There is no truth in the fact that white gold is softer than yellow gold.
