Such a bracelet should not rub against hard surfaces like a table, wooden counter etc. The belief that a white gold bracelet would be more delicate as compared to a yellow gold bracelet is wrong. Gold of the same karatage would have the same hardness except, for rose gold or pink gold where the additional alloy makes the metal somewhat brittle. Remember that 14k or 18k bracelets would need good gold weight to be strong, there can be no compromise on gold weight.

Gemstone selection: The choice of gemstones for your custom bracelet could decide how you should wear and clean the bracelet. For example, the tanzanite gemstone should be protected from physical impact as it can scratch and chip. For this reason, a tanzanite bracelet should not be worn when doing physical work like excercising, cleaning the garden, repairing the car etc. An emerald gold bracelet should not be soaked in water as, this could ruin the natural oils used to treat all emeralds.
